Charles Campbell gives a brief lecture on his childhood up in Bonner, Montana, during the 1920s and 1930s. He explains that Bonner was an Anaconda Copper Mining Company [ACM] town, with a company store, gardens, and housing. Campbell recalls the various businesses and services in the town, including an electric trolley car system that between Bonner and Missoula. He also talks about his experiences in the Boy Scouts, such as going on camping trips, participating in athletic and first aid competitions with other troops from the Missoula, Montana area. Campbell discusses attending school and the difficulty many Bonner children had interacting with Missoula children. He recalls working hard in school, working for the ACM, which helped pay for him to attend the School of Mines in Butte, Montana.
